By using donkeywav, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The MIDI studio

The Emotion → MIDI studio generates chord progressions, melodies, and MIDI files from music-theory rules and randomization — it is provided as a creative tool. Chords, melodies, and MIDI files you export are yours to use in your own productions, royalty-free, with no attribution required. We make no claim of ownership over generated output and no guarantee that any particular progression is musically unique or non-infringing on prior compositions that happen to share the same notes.

Sample Lab and YouTube content

Sample Lab is an optional, power-user tool for converting audio you have the right to use into WAV files, and for local prototyping (key/BPM detection, stem separation). When Sample Lab is used to process YouTube links, you, not donkeywav, are responsible for:

• Complying with YouTube's Terms of Service for the content you download.
• Having the necessary rights or a valid fair-use basis for any copyrighted material.
• Any use, sampling, or redistribution of the resulting audio.

This feature requires a separate backend service that is not part of the public static site and may not be available in every deployment.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of music-theory output, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, donkeywav and its contributors are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including any consequences of content you download or process using Sample Lab.

Advertising and affiliates

This site may display third-party advertising (Google AdSense) and contains Amazon Associates affiliate links. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
